EM Frontiers Strategist/BlueBay Portfolio Manager, Emerging Markets
Christian is a PM/Frontier Strategist in the Emerging Markets team. He joined the firm in November 2001 and moved to the EM Team in January 2006 as an assistant PM covering Credit and local EM funds. Since 2016 Christian’s focus on Sub Saharan African Credit has extended to cover a wider frontier credit and local focus and he has travelled extensively, engaging policy makers and multilaterals. Prior to joining BlueBay Asset Management (which is now part of RBC Global Asset Management), he spent three years at Saudi International Bank in London in the investment accounting section of the asset management division and subsequently as an investment dealer specialising in money market products and foreign exchange. Christian holds a Business degree from Glasgow Caledonian University.
